This page contains many pictures of the Osprey. All were taken here on Long Island and they show both adult and juvenile birds.
During the last four months we were able to follow a breeding pair of Ospreys located in Brookhaven Town. We watched as three babies grew into fledglings, mastered the art of flying, and eventually departed to the south, toward their winter habitats.
